Né en région Parisienne, Vincent Giannesini alias « Zenzel » est sorti diplômé de l’École des Arts
de La Sorbonne en section Arts Plastiques, en 2014.
C’est à la fin de ce processus d’apprentissage qu’il commence son travail sur l’univers du « corps
en mouvement » notamment par la création de photographies en collaboration avec des artistes
de divers horizons (danseurs, circassiens, freerunners,… ).
Aux quatre coins de l’Europe, il rencontre divers artistes et intègre en 2015 une compagnie des
arts de la rue dont le spectacle se nomme «Zéro Degré».
Ce spectacle, mêlant freerun, musique et déambulation pose la question de la frontière et de
l’architecture dans l’espace urbain.
Toujours en lien avec le corps et le mouvement, il cofonde en 2019 la société de production
audiovisuelle «Noesys», par laquelle il se fait une place en tant que réalisateur dans le domaine
de la musique et de la publicité.
Ainsi, il réalise des clips en collaboration avec des artistes musicaux tels qu’Aloïse Sauvage, Yaël
Naim, ou encore Barbara Pravi mais aussi des campagnes de communications artistiques pour
des structures comme la Fondation Louis Vuitton, la marque Aigle ou encore le grand magasin
la Samaritaine.
En 2023, Zenzel renoue avec l’art contemporain et sa recherche autour des corps. En juin dernier,
il investit notamment la ville de Bruxelles dans travail d’exposition photographique mêlant le
corps du circassien et celui de l’architecture d’Art Nouveau Bruxellois en collaboration avec la
compagnie «Back Pocket».
En 2024, il sort aux éditions "Images Plurielles" le livre "D’en bas personne ne nous voit".
9 années d'un travail photographique et textuel relatant sa rencontre avec de jeunes freerunners.
Les suivants sur les toitures parisiennes notamment, il a documenté leurs histoires. Questionnant les principes de la liberté, de l'identité ou encore du danger.
"D'en Bas, Personne ne nous voit" réunit neuf années d’un travail photographique cherchant à capturer le corps de ces artistes déambulant dans la ville.
Racontant la vision de ces artistes dans une époque spécifique, à travers son regard.
Born in the Paris region, Vincent Giannesini alias "Zenzel" graduated from the École des Arts
from La Sorbonne in the Plastic Arts section, in 2014.
It is at the end of this learning process that he begins his work on the universe of the "body
in motion” in particular through the creation of photographs in collaboration with artists
from various backgrounds (dancers, circus artists, freerunners, etc.).
Throughout Europe, he met various artists and in 2015 joined a company of
street arts whose show is called “Zéro Degré”.
This show, mixing freerun, music and wandering, raises the question of borders and
architecture in the urban space.
Always linked to the body and movement, in 2019 he co-founded the production company
audiovisual "Noesys", through which he made a name for himself as a director in the field
music and advertising.
Thus, he produces clips in collaboration with musical artists such as Aloïse Sauvage, Yaël
Naim, or even Barbara Pravi, but also artistic communication campaigns for
structures such as the Louis Vuitton Foundation, the Aigle brand or the department store
the Samaritan.
In 2023, Zenzel reconnects with contemporary art and its research around the body. In June,
he invests in particular the city of Brussels in work of photographic exhibition mixing the
body of the circus artist and that of the Brussels Art Nouveau architecture in collaboration with the
"Back Pocket" company.
In 2024, he released the book “From below, nobody sees us” with “Images Plurielles”.
9 years of photographic and textual work recounting his meeting with young freerunners.
The following on Parisian roofs in particular, he documented their stories. Questioning the principles of freedom, identity and even danger.
“From Below, Nobody Sees Us” brings together nine years of photographic work seeking to capture the bodies of these artists wandering through the city.
Telling the vision of these artists in a specific era, through his eyes.
